Shane Jakobi

Depot Manager - Toowoomba Transit

Shane first became involved in the Express Bus & Coach business in 1986 with McCafferty Coaches in varying roles from Customer Service, Operations and Depot Manager in a number of locations.  In 2004 he moved away from the bus business to join a commercial building company in a Contract Management role on multiple commercial projects.  Returning to the bus industry in 2013, Shane joined  Stonestreet’sCoaches in Toowoomba as relief depot manager and Depot manager of the Gladstone depot , coordinating the daily transport of many construction staff to & from the 3 LNG plants on Curtis Island.

Shane has been with Bus Queensland since February 2016 as the Toowoomba Depot Manager and is enjoying the challenges the role brings.
